These Terms of Use govern your use of the PMOS Vera iOS app and this website, provided by the team behind PMOS Vera. By using Vera you agree to these terms.
1. What Vera is — and isn't
Vera is a personal tracking and pattern-recognition companion for people with PMOS (formerly PCOS). Vera does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Insights and patterns are observations drawn from your own logged data and are for your information only. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional about your health, and never disregard professional advice because of something you read in the app or on this site. If you think you may have a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services.
2. Your account and data
Vera has no account system; your data lives on your device (see the Privacy Policy). You are responsible for safeguarding your device and any device backups you create.
3. Subscriptions and billing
Daily logging is free. Vera Premium is an auto-renewing subscription offering additional features. A 14-day free trial may be offered. Subscriptions are purchased and managed through your Apple App Store account; payment is charged to that account, and the subscription renews automatically until cancelled. You can manage or cancel at any time in your App Store settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. Current pricing is shown in the App Store for your region. We do not receive or store your payment details.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use Vera and this website lawfully and not to attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or misuse them beyond what applicable law permits.
5. Intellectual property
The app, this website, and their content (excluding your own data and third-party marks such as Apple's) are owned by us and protected by applicable law.
6. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Vera and this website are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of Vera, and nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited (including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence). Nothing in Vera is a substitute for professional medical care.
7. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with a new date.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by applicable law, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence.
